About Parking in Jersey City or Hoboken near or at a train station

Parking in Jersey City or Hoboken near or at a train station?
I am traveling from PA to NYC. I saw that there are parkings near Jersey City and Hoboken stations but, do they have the same costs as any other parking in NYC (approx $30)? Are those parking stations in New Jersey, within walking distance from the train stations? Any more insights for my commuting? Thanks

Information on "Hoboken PATH Train Parking" http://411newyork.org/guide/2007/04/23/hoboken-path-train-parking/
Answer 2 :
There are not many places in NYC (manhattan) that are $30/night, plus you will pay $8 for the tunnel. There are a bunch of places near all of the path stations that take daily renters at <$30/day. Then just hop the path train into the city. I guess it depends on how many people are in the car, and how much junk you have to bring (if you are 4 people, or have a bunch of strollers, I would be tempted to drive in

Answer 1 :
I don't have any idea about this. Sorry!
Answer 2 :
PATH to Christopher St http://www.panynj.gov/path/schedule.html A/C Subway uptown to the Port Authority Greyhound to Waterbury
Answer 3 :
I agree that you start by taking the PATH train into the city to 33rd st, but then take the subway to Grand Central (take the N/Q/R one stop uptown to Times Sq, then the shuttle), and take the Metro-North commuter train to Bridgeport and change for Waterbury. PATH is $1.75, subway is $2.25 (get a $4 Metrocard to pay for both), and the off-peak train is $12.50 one way

About How hard is it to commute from New York City back to Jersey late at night by public transportation

How hard is it to commute from New York City back to Jersey late at night by public transportation?
Travelling to New Jersey / New York City for 7 days. My hotel is in Elizabeth, NJ by the Newark Airport. I was wondering how hard it was to commute from New York City back to New Jersey. What is the easiest way? What are the options for commute? Also, should I be concerned about safety here? Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Answer 1 :
There are no options for commute. You should reconsider your hotel in Elizabeth and perhaps stay in brooklyn or queens or a cheap hotel in the city. Elizabeth is very out of the way and unless you rent a car I dont see how you are going to get back there late at night, unless you pay for a cab which will cost you an arm and a leg. You may want to consider looking for a hotel in Hoboken or Weehawken as well, since they are right over the river.
Answer 2 :
I think the train is really your only option, unless you want to shell out a lot of money for a car service. However, I don't know how safe the Elizabeth train station is. Elizabeth is not the nicest place in NJ, and that's being kind. Here's a train schedule from NY Penn to the Elizabeth station: http://www.njtransit.com/sf_tr_schedules.jsp?action=entry&resptype=U&MinB=0&MinA=0&Fare=Y&Line=&LineDesc=&LineLookup=&LineExt=&LineExt2=&STime=12%3A00+PM&RTime=1%3A00+PM&Oloc=New+York+Penn+Station&OSID=105+++++&Dloc=Elizabeth&DSID=41++++++&back=sf_tr_schedules.shtml&ori=105+++++%3ANew+York+Penn+Station&des=41++++++%3AElizabeth&DOW=W&mm=3&dd=26&yyyy=2007&date=3%2F26%2F2007 If you do use the train, make sure to have a taxi waiting for you in Elizabeth. Unless you want to get mugged.
Answer 3 :
NJ tranist trains is about it and they end at 1:40 in the morning and dont start again until 4:30ish...look them up online for theschedule. But its totally safe and not a bad ride, just dont fall asleep

Is anyone traveling to Atlantic city, new jersey for fathers day weekend?
I made reservations for Friday 19th to Monday 22nd, around 2 months ago, but it looks like the weather is going to be horrible, I don't mind having fun with my boyfriend under the rain, but of course everyone in Atlantic city wants to enjoy the sun, also we are going celebrating my graduation. What do you think? what should i do? the weather didn't look good the whole next week but i have been dreaming with this day!! :( any suggestions?

Add to any gift a list of the reasons why you appreciate him. Perhaps have it inscribed on a wall plague. Please don't get a joke card. In my 20+ years of working with fathers, it has been rare that a joke card that makes fun of his abilities is really appreciated. I wrote this to "Dear Abby" for Father's Day, March 19, 2005. APPRECIATION FOR JOB WELL DONE IS WHAT FATHERS WANT TO HEAR DEAR ABBY: Today is Father's Day, so why don't we try to do more for dear old Dad than give him the usual greeting card that promotes the idea that all dads are imbeciles, followed by a collect call to see what he thought of the card. (Father's Day is the day when the most collect calls are made.) We should treat our fathers the way we treat our mothers on Mother's Day and show them we appreciate them for being there. Yes, you probably tell your father all the time that you love him, but the minds of men work differently. Anyone can say "I love you," but as men, knowing that we are appreciated for a job well done is what really gets us teary-eyed. Something else you can do -- especially you sons out there (but daughters can do it, too) -- is to make sure Dad has been to the doctor for a checkup, including depression screening. This can go a long way toward making sure he's here on Father's Day next year. I wasn't raised by my father, but by a stepfather. Although we did not see eye-to-eye on many things, I would not be the person I am today if it were not for him. This man, who spent years climbing on top of heavy construction equipment to prepare the ground for many of the homes, businesses, roads and highways of Southern California, now finds it difficult to get into a car. Although none of the houses or roads have his name on them, they are all testaments to his life and the lives of men like him. So today, let's do something extra for Dad, without him pulling out his wallet to pay for it. -- George McCasland, Overland Park, Kansas *************************************************************** Remember, there's a lot of us fathers sitting in nursing homes whose children live too far away to visit. Contact an activities director about volunteering Sunday morning. Read a list out loud about why you appreciated your father
